New Arrival (Hulk & Green Lantern would envy)

Just got her today. After much debate b/w this, the older 16610LV and a black 116610 (and input from you all), I pulled the trigger on this baby from a TRF trusted seller (takuya). Love at first sight. As many have noted before, pictures truly cant do this watch justice. I love how the dial appears black in many settings until the sun hits it, and then it bursts with all its green glory that would make the Hulk, Green Lantern or the Green Goblin,...well, green with envy.

Thanks! I was surprised that the inner and outer boxes were larger than normal, anyone know if this is a 50th anniv thing?

It's not. That's not the 50th anniversary watch, the 16610 LV is. But yours is a beauty, and I say congrats on getting one you love.

Yea you are right, sorry, I guess what i meant was is this in tribute to the 50th or something? Doubtful, but just seemed odd the outer white and inner green box are all larger than my Daytona and the GMTII i purchased, all less than a year ago.

I know this is borderline blaspheme, and I am still in the honey moon phase, but I am in no hurry to wear my Daytona. This will likely be my weekday/work watch, and the Daytona weekends. I am truly blown away by this thing, it seemingly has about 100 shades of green on the dial, from black to metallic green glory. Thanks guys.

Congrats! I'm thinking really hard to pair LVc with my white SS Daytona. I'm able to get 20% off from my AD. Might pull the trigger.
