How to connect with DAVIDSW?

Hi all! So as I continue to research and read through threads on here at TRF, I continue to see recommendations to reach out to user DAVIDSW if you're looking for a piece and need a reputable seller. BUT, I'm not sure how to do this...which sounds silly I know. Anytime I try to send a PM, I hit the 'Send Message' button and it takes me back to the Private Messages page and no record of the message in my 'sent' folder. Does it mean his Inbox is full? Do I need to befriend him before I can send him a message? I noticed you can post 'visitor messages' on a user profile but don't know if that's the proper way to get connected?

Any help in this regard would be great. I'm sure he must get inundated with requests/messages but sounds like he's the one to go to if you're on the hunt for some watches.

For the record, I already have a WTB post out there, and have sent similar "I'm looking for these watches" messages to other dealers out there, :) Any other tips/best practices to hunt down a watch is more than welcome!

search/advanced/davidsw...you haven't selected "save in sent folder" in your profile.

Thanks but my question is how to CONNECT with him. I have no issues 'finding' him.

I've sent him PMs with no problems. Maybe you should consult with a MOD.

I'm a complete moron. I just noticed there is a checkbox at the bottom of the send message page to save copies of sent messages...I guess this was checked for all my other PMs but not this time. UGH. So sorry guys. Waste of my time and yours.

AWESOME. Thanks, once again feeling like an idiot. Sorry for not putting in my due diligence. Spent all my time/effort in the wrong place and it was right there.

Mods, feel free to remove/delete this thread. Doesn't provide any value and only purpose now is to show people how dumb I am, :)

Don't worry it happens to all of us, (not me but all others).
