LV Sub back from the spa

Just got my Sub back from the service centre in London on Friday after being away for 4 months. As this is my first watch to be serviced, I muat say that I was actually disappointed with the service card that came back from the service centre. I was actually expecting a plastic card (similar to the original warranty card that comes with newer models from new). Is this normal? If so, I can't see why they cannot (or do not) provide plastic service cards instead of laminated cards. I know that it is just a card however I do not believe that a card of this quality should be given out - Rolex are better off reverting back to the paper version as in my view, this looked much better.

4 months!!! Was it Central London who had it or was it sent to the Kings Hill centre? Yes that's the correct type of card you get back from service.

Yes how is the watch now?

Would also be interested in knowing where it was sent. 4 months is a very long wait. I thought between 2-3months was average

Yes, my GMT returned from a Rolex service in July, with the exact same items as yours including the laminated card. Not the most fancy, but it gets the job done as far as memorializing serial number and service date.

Yeah the bag comes with it. It's pretty handy as it will make it easier to travel with a second watch

I took it to a Rolex boutique rather than direct to the service centre. They did mention to me that at the very maximum, it may take 20 weeks. I was ok with the timeframe as I have other watches to play around with

Looks like a brand new watch. Service wise, I can't complain - couldn't be happier

The only thing that I was expecting which I did not get was a detailed invoice detailing work carried out (not sure if this is normal practice) - got the boutique to do this for me on a company letterhead for future reference.

Thanks. It truly is an amazing feeling seeing as I had intended on servicing the watch over the last couple of years but never got round to doing so until now.
