Datejust... SS vs TT vs YG

Hi all. WE are looking at a datejust, men's fluted bezel with jubilee bracelet.

It is available as Stainless Steel, Two tone, and Yellow Gold.

Which one you like best and why ?

Which one you would hate to buy, and why ?

please feel free to fully express yourselves, ex: if you think all gold watches belong only in Vegas, then please say so ! :)

It truly is your choice..it is what you like. I have a new ss sub..to get this I sold my TT sub blue face....I always wanted the SS but listened to others and bought the TT sub and was never 100% happy...maybe 95% but not like the 100% I am now....so truly get whatever you feel is the best and which one you like as they all are great watches.

Either TT or SS. If it were all gold then I feel like I'd only bring it out for special occasions.

TT has a nice weight to it and the gold IMHO seems to contrast great with the SS, Ive only just got this so any excuse to show a picture.

The best option for DJ,for me,is TT,because SS is more apropriate for sporty tool watches and YG looks too much serious and is perfect for Day-Date.But,I think that the first DJ that I`m gonna buy will be SS.Why?Well,I like silver color and it`s less expensive than TT!

TT. SS is a little bland in my book for a dress watch like the DJ, and the YG looks like a president wannabe.

I have both SS and TT DJs but I would say that the TT is the more versatile of the two.....Go for the TT and you won't be disappointed.

I like both the SS, TT and YG versions but to me the TT is a classic Rolex combination and recognisable from a mile away and so personally, I don't think you would go far wrong with the TT, but then again I suppose it's more a question of presonal taste and what suits you more than anything!

Here's a pic of mine with the Ivory & Roman dial (any excuse).

First, I much prefer a DJ with a Jubilee dial over Oyster, at least for a man's watch. Insofar as metal, my choices are:
TT (RG more than YG)
SS
Gold (price point of all gold DJ is so close to DD, so I would plunge for the DD at that point)

The TT DJ is the classic Rolex..

I would save the SS for a sports model.

The DJ in my mind is a dress watch. Nothing looks better IMHO than a TT with a white face. Best wishes on your potential ourchase.

definitely tt for datejust and ss for sport watches! And dress watch to worn on left wrist and sport watch to be worn on right wrist! ( just a little input )

TT is the classic DJ look....then again i'm biased...I have one

There is a certain classic look for each watch: DJ = TT, DD = YG, GMT/Submariner/Daytona/Sea Dweller = SS

I bought the SS DateJust because that's what I could afford at the moment. I actually think it looks great on the Jubilee bracelet. Just look at that great picture of Dan's. However, the TT DateJust is the first Rolex I fell in love with as a kid and I hope to add one of those to the collection one day. It's all a matter of choice and you really can't go wrong
