I find myself staring....

...at other peoples wrists. Not out of vanity or a need to compare what's on mine to theirs. More out of a curiosity to see others taste in these fine mechanical creations.

Does anyone else have this same tendency?

I've done the same several times. I've also had several ask about my watch when I wear my 60s Seamaster Deville that my stepdad gave me.

I look but try not to stare. I remember a few years ago meeting a forum member to buy a watch and the way he looked at my watch rather than at me as I walked in and sat down made me understand how hot girls feel walking thru a nightclub. Hey, pal, I'm up here!

I never look at someone's watch when I'm interacting with them. Only in passing.

Constantly looking
I've been in the sale of luxury goods for a very long time so I look for watches and with ladies it's watches, shoes and handbags. And I like to see what others are wearing as well.

Absolutely! And I tell my wife...look they're wearing a ...xyz...usually followed by..."you're an idiot..."...she doesn't get excited like I do... Especially if I see something unique around here like another Daytona!

I always look, but never comment.

The few times I've thought about commenting, I realized that the "Submariner" they were wearing was a quartz knockoff.

Spotted a 116613LB from across a restaurant patio the other night. Wife accused me of staring at the guy's girlfriend. Lol.
