Picked up this PAM 000 at the boutique in Florence when I was there last month.

Thanks all.
I'm really enjoying this one. Fit and finishing is outstanding-- not too far off from my AP 15300-- and it's a welcome addition to my collection. I had to arrange this purchase with the boutique months in advance because the BASE LOGO is hard to find. They rarely get them in stock in the Firenze boutique and when they do they are gone in a matter of hours. I was traveling through Greece and Italy and, luckily, they got one in only 3 days before I arrived in Florence, after trying to source on for me for many weeks. The boutique across from the Duomo is currently closed for repairs (see pic) so the hostess stationed there arranged for me to be taken by driver to the boutique set up within the Four Seasons Firenze which is a few minutes ride. There, they had the zero waiting for me in the safe. Since I had arranged to purchase a Panerai in Firenze, I really wanted it to have strong Panerai DNA. This was much more important to me than having a complication. The BASE LOGO hit the mark. Manual wind, painted dial, logo, solid case back stamped "Firenze 1860." Yup, this was the one I wanted. In addition to all this, I got the VAT returned upon leaving the EU which made this watch less expensive than I could purchase it for on a full retail basis in the U.S. But, the cost savings is far less important than the buying experience in Italy, and particularly having punched papers from the boutique in Firenze. |

does it mean that it has "Firenze" stamped on the back because you purchased it at that store? (sorry for the dumb question, I'm new to the whole Panerai thing...it is for sure going to be my next watch).
