AP ROO Slate, AP ROO Panda, or Patek Aquanaut Travel Time?
Hey guys, i'm looking to add a watch to my collection. At the moment, my collection consists of the following:
AP ROO Navy Rolex Sub Date PAM 320 As the title states, the new addition will be between: AP ROO Slate AP ROO Panda Aquanaut Travel Time Initially, I was sure i wanted the Patek, but I have large hands - so the ROOs do fit me better, and the patek does wears small, and doesnt look as good as the ROOs on me. Any input on which one should be my next addition is much appreciated! |

I would get the PP, the 5164 has a wonderful dial. If it wears on the small side then for AP I prefer the slimmer cases of the ROC and it still wears like a 42/3mm.

Even if it wears a bit small I'd still go with the Patek since you alread have an AP.

I have all the watches you listed except the PAM...not sure why you'd get another ROO is you have a Navy or are your getting rid of it?
I need to know more of what you are using it for? The 5164 is a perfect travel watch...easiest GMT function on the planet and flies under the radar. |

I like the PP in pictures, but in the flesh I was less than impressed. Everybody's opinion will be different so none of this would be of much help to you ...

5164 all day long and twice on Sunday. It will be the most comfortable watch you own.

The aquanaut, weight and look is less substantial compared to a ROO. If you have big hands and wrists it may be on the smaller side. Of the three, I like the gray ROO the best. Can't go wrong with any of these, though.

No brainer for me- Patek. Those AP's look rough ,unbalanced and ugly.
Just look at that gorgeous Patek... |

The perfect compliment to your existing collection would be the 5164.

I prefer the patek by a large margin. But if you aren't comfortable with the size, the slate ROO is a looker IMHO. Maybe a bit redundant with your navy though...

The Slate ROO looks nice!
They're all lovely though...
