They are both awesome. No lose situation.

For me tho, I far prefer the dj2. I think the YM is awesome. So awesome that I've tried it a number of times. Always sold. And fast too.

I think the DJ2 is a classic example and a forever watch.

Love the sticks too. Great all around watch.

Yeah, that's my question. Do you think the DJ2 is more timeless? I love the YM, but have begun to wonder if it makes more sense to lean on the classic style of the DJ2.
While I tend to prefer watches that are less prevalent, I always end up falling for the classic styles (e.g. speedy, sub-c, IWC pilot, etc.)

They are pretty much the same blue, but the red on the YM adds that little extra imho.

DJ for me. The red sweep hand on the YM bothers me a little.

I love both. That's an amazing blue.

For me, the YM is a beautiful looking piece, but one that I could never wear personally (just because my general look is one of plain utilitarianism). I'd probably end up buying the DJII, but even that might be too pretty for me.

As such, I just keep looking at photos of both and admiring them.

Poll says YM1 is winning but in sales I'm sure many who look at the blue YM1 buy a Sub or a Blue DJ2 in real life. I love the YM1, but buying it is another story. The Datejust II is must nicer all over, whereas the YM1 is too close to the Subs and GMT's.

I love the blue dial of the YM, and before the dial color change, the YM was my least favorite Professional!
It may just be me, but a blue dial Professional is suitable with any casual wear, nut the DJII should match the clothes. I'd never wear a blue dial DJII with a tan suit, but I'd wear the black dial with any color suit.

I love the Fluted Bezel on the DJ, but I prefer it in white or black. In this case the YM

I picked the YM because I think the bezel and red second hand compliments it well

Of the choices I'd say DD in blue...but my preference would be the 116619.

Which is the better Blue??

The blue on the 36mm DJ roman dial, handled it at an AD on Friday, very nice👍

The DJII roman blue is a shade lighter.

If I had to choose, the DJII sticks blue.
