I own a GMTiiC. I have a bluesy and a subLV, so thought the subc didn't make as much since as the GMT. But I like them both.

I have both, and love them both equally.
If you would use the GMT function then that watch is a must, when I travel it makes things easy. But if not then the sub-c is so iconic. You will be happy with either.

GMT BLNR !! I held both (LVc and BLNR) for 15 minutes before my final decision ! No regrets...
Anyway, still aiming for the Sub LVc in a near future...

I like Sub-C, it's less cluttered.

For me, the SubC looks best in black. In GMTII guise, I much prefer the BLNR.

SubC for me.
If you want PCLs on a SS, get a Daytona or DJII. |

I fly a lot....dive very rarely. So, GMT BLNR it is for me as a daily driver.

The only ceramic I own is a GMT IIc, not a huge fan of Ceramics. I prefer the old school aluminum inserts. GMT II for me

Having owned both and swearing by the ceramic, I'm starting to lean more towards the aluminum. Oh well! I'll probably change my mind before I finish my post....yep I'm back to loving the ceramic. Disregard everything I just said! |

Both.
I think a Sub belongs in any collection but if I had neither I'd get the GMT first. Just find the TZ function more useful to me than the extra WR, and I don't need to constantly be fiddling with the fit so the Glidelock is not critical for me. Just my $0.02, YMMV.
