BLNR Vacation Pictures

So I mentioned we were going to the West Edmonton waterpark with the kids. Just in case you thought Rolexes might be getting over priced consider that a family of four admission with a zip line pass and not including lunch was over $200. The 116710 was amazing in the water. The colours were brilliant and I never felt like it was a fragile item. Special thanks to my wife who reminded me an iPhone is not protected by an Oyster case. Enjoy the aqua pics...

LOL good catch. I put it on my left wrist for the one shot because it was easier to work the iPhone camera with the light angle.

I love when my BLNR turns silvery underwater and at an angle you are unable to see the dial at all. So cool.

Hope it was a good day out with the family Bruce....

Did you stop by Gemoro's while at the Mall?? Also, I happen notice you had the watch on both hands in your pics... Do you always swap around?

Ah glad you asked on both counts. As mentioned earlier in this post I swapped to my left arm purely to get the best lighting and angle with the iPhone camera. I exclusively wear my watches on my right arm.

I always make a point to stop in at Gemoro. They always have an amazing selection.

I first stopped in years ago when Rolex started being on my radar of desires. Admittedly they come across a bit intimidating at first as you have to ask for permission to go into the Rolex boutique section. It makes sense though when you remember that they are located in one of the busiest malls in North America.

When I got my first Rolex (116200) I stopped in later that year and was way more comfortable.

This year some in stock highlights were a platinum Day-Date II, and my current favourite two tone Datejust IIs with both the slate roman dial and black Arabic dial side by side. Very tempting.

Cheers.

They are a busy store, and now the only Rolex dealer in Edmonton, so the extra security is a good move IMO, and has always been that way....and yes, almost always a good selection!
Thanks for the explanation on the wrist change, had me scratching my head!

Fantastic pics! That blue really makes the watch shine and why owners would ever consider brushing the centre links is beyond my understanding. They look amazing.

Those are pretty decent pics for an iPhone. The watch and the color of the water is sublime.
