Over polish Ouch....

Not my watch, thank goodness, bad case of over polishing a Daytona!!!

That is a really bad polishing job, value greatly affected IMHO!

I've seen turn-o-graphs with faded black inserts on the bezels (and on daytonas). I wondered how the black characters faded. Now I know why.

That's actually pretty rare. It looks like an amateur with a Dremel tool had a go at it several times.

Just stay with a Cape Cod cloth when needed and your lines will always be sharp and crisp.

well no word by OP on who did this, but honestly a careless or uninformed owner could do alot of this with a cape cod cloth!

Is it even possible to do that much damage with a Cape Cod Cloth by hand? I know you can polished out the brushed steel, but this is a crazy example!
