Setting the Date on Rolex 1500 (vintage)
Guys,
I really love this watch...it was purchased new when my father was in Junior High.... The only problem is, it doesnt have quick set feature, when setting the date, I have to wind the watch 24 hours....can you imagine if I need to change the date from let say 23 to 22...I have to wind the watch 24 hours x 30 = 720 hours.... Any suggestion how to cope with this problem??? Regards,

On slowset vintage Rolexes, I have never had a problem rotating the hands backwards. If it's the 22nd and your watch says the 23rd, just go back a day.
If it's the 1st and your date says the 15th, now that's a pain! Sent from my SPH-D710VMUB using Tapatalk 2 |
