Who will customise my dial?
Hi, I know that having a dial customised will lover the value etc etc But I'm not going to sell the watch so....
I wondered if anyone knew somebody that would customise a sub dial for me. (Just some calligraphy on the dial) Oh and preferably in the UK, but not essential. Many thanks |

Hi, thanks for the replies.
will I find Mike Young in the UK? Does he have websites? Just looking for 7 letters to be painted on the dial above 6 o'clock in a old fashioned calligraphy writing. Wanted someone to do it by hand if poss. But don't mind if its laser done i suppose. PS Funny I'm acually wearing the VIP band from Bamfords Sloane Sq store launch. Seems the band lasted longer than the lease on the store. (20/9/05) I still have the invitation which was written on a leather spanner wrapper, like you got in old bentleys (compleate with spanners no less) |

Not a typical watchmaker's art - but many might be able to outsource it.
What you need is a dial maker. Someone who has the tools and skills for the demanding precision - like seen in this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPHx4ebW0iY
