Post Number 1000...pic heavy
Well, here it is I guess. Post number 1000. Joined in early 2013 after purchasing my first rolex at the pushing of my wife, the TT Datejust. The bug immediately had bitten. Followed that with a TT 16613 Sub, and then went stainless with the GMTiiC LN, all within the first 3 months or so after the initial purchase. At this point had to get my wife involved, so got her a ladies oyster perpetual MOP/diamond bezel (and then she was hooked...big plus for me)...
Over the last year the collection has grown as seen below. Added a Pepsi GMTII, Sub LV, and finally a Daytona 116520 that was a tenth wedding anniversary gift from my lovely wife. Ive also picked her up two more Rolex, midsize yacht master, and the one Im giving her tonight, the brand new TT ladies 31 MM DJ factory diamond dial and added a Diamond bezel....the original bezel is still in the box and I just picked this up from my AD today....just because she's perfect for me and deserves it! All in all, its been a great year and a half, and I have spent a ton of time on this great forum. I have learned a ton of information, seen a lot of beautiful watches, and really appreciate all of the input from members and the class the moderators use in their everyday running of this community. I especially appreciate the regulars like Dr. Tom and Dan Pierce inspiring my collection with their stunning pictures. And of course Jocke's photos go without saying. Padi for all of his information, and Mike "the caveman" and our old "steelersfan-turned moderator" for their love of haute horology and what I would hope for my collection to one day be. Thank you all for a wonderful year...look forward to many more...
