Servicing an ALS or GO
Good morning,
I am just wondering if any of the owners of either ALS or GO models have had them serviced?. As far as I know the Jewler in Montreal ships them to Germany. He made the comment once that ALS service takes incredibly long. I am not aware of either brand has a service center in North America. Does that mean fedex to Germany if something goes wrong ? Thanks |

I recently had my LANGEMATIK Perpetual serviced and it took 7 months. It is a complicated piece so I would expect it should take longer than a more simple piece. In the US , Alkis of Swiss Watch Repair is the only authorized Lange watchmaker, however, If it is a complicated piece such as a perpetual calendar he is required to send it to Germany for service.
In my case, Alkis handled all arrangements of sending it, and having it returned. When it was returned, he kept the watch for several days to make certain that everything was functioning perfectly. BTW, Alkis has been given rave reviews by so many people. |

Alkis
Is the only Lange sanctioned service center in NA. Alkis does a terrific job and the watches come back like new. My Lange 1 took 3 months to service, which is not bad.
