Are all Le-Coultre's Jaeger?

Been vintage shopping lately and I see jlc and lecoultre from the same era. Example is a memovox alarm. Both look the same just some don't have the jaeger name . I was wondering if they were the same company. And the name on the dial and movement was for taxes?

I think LeCoultre was made for the US market and assembled over there to avoid tariffs.
