My first JLC>>>>>>>
It is an old Atmos. Even my wife seemed to like it, she said: It will be beautiful in the living room.

Very cool! Do you need to calibrate it once you put it in its place?

I'm not really sure. I will send it to service before I start using it. There is a bubble in the base plate so it must be factored in when you moved it.

I would love to have one on my fireplace.
From Wiki Its power source is an internal hermetically sealed capsule containing a mixture of gaseous and liquid ethyl chloride, which expands into an expansion chamber as the temperature rises, compressing a spiral spring; with a fall in temperature the gas condenses and the spring slackens.[1] This motion constantly winds the mainspring. A temperature variation of only one degree in the range between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, or a pressure variation of 3 mmHg, is sufficient for two days' operation |

Cheers Jocke, been wanting one of these for a while.
Just found this on ebay. Don't know much about these clocks. Anyone got any advice? Price looks fair. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaeger-Lec...3D111474281923 |
