Not in million years could I do that!

At first I thought he wearing a Polar Exp II but upon further review - not so. Too bad because that video would certainly qualify for a new Rolex adventure advertisement.

I don''t think the video gives one an appreciation for the wind that must kick up on occasion at that height.

My palms got too sweaty watching that. It doesn't help that I'm afraid of heights!

What would be the proper timepiece for such a position?

Super crazy for sure. But they've got harnesses, and handles. Wanna see true fear, check out Alex Honnold free soloing half dome. It's tough to breath watching it...

I think the last 160 feet or so are done in free climbing without the harness attached except when resting. I will search Alex Honnold!

Pretty cool if you ask me! Gives you very precise altitude readings and is limited to 500.

My "climbing partner" would most assuredly have been pooped on had I been in the lead!

Yeah, it said right in the video that most of these guys free climb because it's much faster and OSHA regulations allow it. Personally, I'd be examining every single hand/foot hold with a loupe prior to putting any weight on it. But I agree that free climbing rock formations is equally if not more hairball. At least these towers were designed to be climbed.

He's wearing a G-Shock.

At least the watch might survive the fall.

HELL NO! They must have nerves of steel. Even with a harness, the wind must be troublesome to deal with at that height.
