2nd Watch?

Hi, I already have a nice 14060M, and am thinking of adding another watch. I was set on the Reverso, but after reading so many bad reviews about Richmont's customer service, I decided to stay with Rolex. Datejust? Exp2? What's your opinion?

I have no idea about your taste in watches outside of Submariners.

Visit an AD and find a watch you like that suits your budget - post up some pix.

Perhaps a GMT or a Daytona.

No, a Milgauss is good or a SeaDweller if you dive deep.

I like the YG DayDates or a Pt one if you can spring for it.

Plenty of enablers here.

Welcome to TRF.

DJ or DJII...with fluted bezel. So u have a dressy/casual watch to complement your sports Sub. Good choice with the 14060. You will have a classy collection, balanced collection.

Sub and DJ2 is what I use!
Now I need a clunker, but thats another story...

Have you ruled out the Reverso simply because of the service reputation of one local dealer? I would not.

You can't go wrong with either👍
But I also like the Reverso

Before you settle on a watch, I'd try to outline some guidelines for your collection- and yes, I'd say two luxury watches counts!

Some want diversity- whether in materials- steel, gold; different brands, different complications, etc.

Some really, really love a particular brand and/or model. So they want different subs.

And there is no wrong way!

For me, I wanted to stay in the Rolex brand, but didn't want a watch too similar to my first watch, so I found something different enough but exciting for me to wear. So I'm pretty happy with both pieces.

I always thought a Sub and DJ or DJ2 would be a nice combination if you were only going to have 2 Rolexes. Both go with anything, but one is a bit sportier and one is a bit dressier.

I'd say either a GMT, or a Milgauss, or an Explorer, an Explorer II, a Daytona, or a Datejust...or ALL OF THE ABOVE

Stainless steel Daytona with white dial. Nothing else. Perfect match for your sub

I have the 14060M and for my second watch I was close to getting the Daytona (white dial) but I ended up getting an AP RO (white dial). When I tried it on, I just had to have it.

How about an Explorer I, either on 36 or 39mm guise? Not everyone wants bezels and complications all the time and it is more versatile than the Sub.

I have a ceramic Sub and a 14060 and the Explorer I is the only other Rolex I drool over...or maybe a classic Pepsi GMT....

I'd go with DJ or how about IWC on leather to mix it up?

I started with a TTDJ reference 16233 and wore it daily for about 25 years. Lately I've noticed and admired my friends Submariners. So that was the second Rolex I purchased this summer a SubC. One sport watch and one for dress. Now which one will be the next???? Rolex has so many interesting choices.
