If you like it go for it, but I find it gaudy and it looks like a bad fake.
Your current watch is classic and gorgeous. Just my opinion. |

I like that blue/ purple. Not a serti fan though. Is the serti original to the watch and can you keep it if you swap?

If I were fortunate enough to own that watch I'd keep the serti dial.

I prefer the serti dial to the purple. It just doesn't look correct for the watch.

I'm not a big fan of the Serti but in this case I'd leave the watch as is. The blue/purple looks odd IMO.

I would stick to the Serti but if I was to change, I'd go for the proper "sunburst'' blue.

Serti Combo looks unique and more uniform.
Personal opinion the Purple adds a hint of feminity to it that I could see Camron Diaz rocking or other lady rocking a sub. I'd keep the Serti. |

Blue purple looks great and and would be fun in the light. I'd switch, but I don't like serai dials.

the pic you bring from the internet are really different the first one was actually pretty nice but the second one is a heck no ! so I'd say your choice but if you ask for my opinion the first dark blue is really nice but if the real one look like the second pic then NO!!!

In your first picture the date wheel seems white or silver. Blue dial has a champagne color date wheel. So you might take that into consideration.

I had the dial on my Exp II repainted from white to black. Whilst it looked ok, it just
didn't seem as near to the 'real' black as possible. When I sent the watch off for appraisal (I was going to sell it) it was remarked the the dial wasn't in good condition. I took this to mean it was repainted. I then decided to have a brand new dial (and hands, >£400 plus vat). Rolex insisted on a service as well. The result? Well imo it looks mint now. |
