Anybody Else on the Vintage Side Get a PM Regarding a Gilt 5512?

Yesterday I received a lenghty PM from a guy (with 0 posts) asking advice on a gilt 5512 being offered by Jacek. It's not in our "For Sale Section." He requested my email address if I couldn't find the pictures. He didn't say where the pictures were. I found the watch on the HQ Milton site and gave my humble opinion. No response. One way to get someone's ISP address is via opening a PM. Among others. Maybe something, maybe nothing. Just curious, anyone else have this happen?

Beef - I got the same PM, only he told me the seller was Jacek and quoted me the price. He didn't ask for my email address but he did ask for my opinion on the watch. I responded and he asked me what he thought a fair price was. I told him I don't know and to post his thoughts about the watch on the forum. I haven't heard back. That was about 7 hrs ago. I thought it was odd but figured no harm since it was all via PM.

Be careful about giving your email to someone who you don't know and they ask you for it.
You could thereafter receive a fake email which asks you to log into a fake website, and in doing so you may unwittingly reveal your password and have your account taken over.

Thanks, Boss! I figured that it was something like that. Unless I'm doing a transaction, no one here needs my email, PMs have always worked just fine.

Mike1066, I told him pretty much the same and some other general advice. I've recieved a lot of great advice here and try to help when I can. Seems like a phishing expedition if you got it 7 hours ago. Mine was over 24 hours ago.
