A good friend of mine bought his wife a TT Ladies Datejust 69173 back in 1995. He has all box/papers. The watch has been worn maybe 30 times since then and is virtually brand new(she just isn't a jewelry type person).

I'm thinking of buying it for my wife but have concerns about it's reliability without a RSC full service. I've had the watch the last 3 days and it's keeping perfect time.

What are your thoughts on the watch needing service since I'm trying to make a fair offer to my buddy. Thanks.
