opinion on a Zephyr

This is for sale on Ebay via auction... Looks attractive to me, but there must be something wrong with it! The dial looks original, but almost too good to be true. And did they engrave the manufacturing date on the outside of the back plate? I thought in that era it was on the inside, below the case number.

That engraving on the outside caseback is probably an anniversary, birthday, something like that.

Everything looks good, aftermarket engraving I would not worry about it, nice piece. Dial looks good

beautiful watch...definitely a fan of those...and the dial has some age, but in a great way (looks like genuine age, not damage or too new).

well, I did not buy it yet! auction ends tomorrow... Just wanted to make sure it got the RF seal of approval first.
