Dream come true!

Dear WIS,

From a very young age I have always hankered for a beautiful mechanical watch. From liking random stuff like breitlings and other ugly bulky messy chronographs, I have grown a little older and hopefully wiser, and have seen the light. For a good while I have been looking for a simple non-complicated beautiful dress watch with a solid movement and have finally come to a decision on a Rolex. Now which to get was a difficult decision as I really liked both the submariner and the datejust. I suppose it eventually came down to which fit my hand better and which could I see myself wearing in the long term and I have made my decision on this beautiful baby. Many thanks to Patrick Aziz / OCROLEXGUY who has made this transaction superbly flawless. I cannot recommend him enough. Anyway, here are some pics :D

The Omega Aqua Terra blue dial 38.5mm dominated my thoughts for a while but I definitely believe that I have come to the right decision of which to get. I think you guys may agree :D
Here's a pic of them side-by-side anyway.

Cheers,
Julian.

To me it's no choice. Viewing them side by side you can really see the difference in quality.

That is a classic design and size in a modern rendition... what I call a lifer. Extremely well done, my friend! I have a Sub but hope to add one of these in 36mm even for my 8" wrist. The 36mm is just perfectly proportioned and I can't get over the "stretched" look of the larger ones. Looks perfect on your wrist. Great choice.
