Damaged SubC is repaired

Some of you may recall this thread....

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=384808

First, all is well and the SubC is like new again.

I placed an order, at the AD, for the half bracelet part on 12-4-14. I took the watch to them to verify that the half bracelet was the only part needed, it was. On 12-10-14, Rolex respond to the AD's request. The AD was told this is an exchange part only, send the damaged part and we'll send you a new one. I was prepared for a long wait.

Halfway through my day today, I was delighted with a call from my AD, the bracelet came in. The costs were 350.00 for this part, which I feel is very reasonable. Just wanted to fill everyone in on the results!

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Good news. Also serves as confirmation that those who have permanent links removed. They can buy half bracelets should the desire to retire their watches pre sale.

This, I think is karma after (if I remember correctly) your fantastic response to it being damaged.

Happy christmas.

Great news! I'm happy that it was fixed quickly and for a relatively (for Rolex anyway) inexpensively.
I also read your first post of the incident and my hats off to you for the way you handled the situation! Total class act!
