Serial number

Hello,
This is my first post here. I have found conflicting info regarding the inscription of the serial number on the new rolexes gmts. Is it acceptable for a 2014 GMT master 2 to have the serial number engraved only in the rim below the cristal? I have read that the serial number should be in addition engraved on the case beneath the bracelet. My watch says nothing but stainless steal in that position. please advice!
Thanks a lot.

Yes.

Engravings between the lugs are being phased out.

The model number should still be engraved between the lugs at 12 o'clock.

Some pix would be good when you can.

Welcome to the Forum.

Thank you guys! I bought from a jewlery that is not a AD in the state I live. However this jewlery is part of a chain that has AD in several other states. I got box and a card stamped by the AD. It all looks normal. I was fine until I saw the picts of the fakes that you spot in the forum. Those fakes do not look a tad less real than the watch I bought. I am attaching one pic. Please send your comments. Cheers
