Awesome but i'm thinking desk diving will probably take a toll on that e-strap.. and would it like have possibilities to magnetise the mechanical watch..??

Very interesting to see the various ways that watchmakers are trying to deal with the threat of smart watches. Personally I still like my watches analog (even the straps).

More useless technology to spend your money on. You have a smart phone in your pocket and a perfectly good watch on your wrist. No need to integrate the two. They have existed in harmony, just fine by the way, for awhile now.

As a tech developer / geek for years have been wearing two wrist instruments. As am right-handed the mechanical goes on the normal left wrist and on the right is (today) the latest Samsung Gear S2 Classic 4G on matching metal bracelet. The latest S2 looks like a proper watch, with the metal bracelet completing the look (stock leather strap didn't 'do it' for me visually). Unique is that it has full cell phone / messaging built in plus all the typical health and other bits so can leave the brick at home. For mechanical it was a Patek 5167 yet decided the new Sub was a better fit for my active lifestyle at the beach.

Am not sure we'll see a mechanical combined with 'computerized' for years until they can shrink down a proper imaging/touch overlay 'crystal' that offers good transparency. Add to that the typical size 'limitations' when we add in the mechanical and electrical power delivery bits.

JMHO. YMMV.

I quite like my heart rate monitoring and step counting Fitbit. If someone could do those functions and not have them look absolutely shit I'd be interested.
