I'm in PCB. I've contacted every watch related business in my area and haven't found anybody that will do anything but change a battery.

I believe the AD, McCaskill and Company in Destin do in house service. But obviously not independent and I cannot attest to the quality of their work.

I've sent a watch for service to the watchbuyersgroup in California and was very pleased with them.

If you find a reputable independent watch repair shop please PM me, I'd love to know about them.

The purpose of the thread was to find a local watch shop, we can send our watches anywhere I would suppose.

Rik has done work for me, and I don't live in Florida. Give him a try, you won't be disappointed.

I don't see "local" anywhere in the OP. Seemed he was looking for an independent.

I took my JLC into Jewelry & Watch Express in Fort Walton Beach. He claimed to have a jeweler in Panama City who was Swiss and Rolex certified. I opted not to have my JL see serviced by them as he was a bit too expensive for what I wanted done. I certainly cannot verify his claims. I suggest you call him and get the name of the jeweler in Panama City. Send me a PM if you cannot get his phone number.
