GMT Master II 116713 LN

Is there little or no love for this watch on this Forum? There are many posts regarding many TT sports watches, especially for the TT blue Sub (one of my favourites), but very little is written about the TT GMT. I can't understand why as I feel it is one of the best looking watches around. Perhaps it's SS counterparts receive so much attention and rightfully so, that their TT brother gets lost in the mix.

In any event, would love to see pictures of this stunning timepiece from fellow Forum members who own this watch.

Sorry about the poor quality pic. I guess I am not good at pictures.

I hope the appreciation value of this watch goes up way up.

There's much love here for the TT GMT. Search a little harder. Many consider it the nicest looking two tone model in the entire Rolex line...me included.

That's just one reason I own one.

Guilty as charged, I guess I'm one of the ones that isn't a huge fan of TT.

Out of the TT models, the blue TT Sub is indeed my favourite, though that's probably because Subs in whatever form attract me the most and it comes in blue. Just purely my personal preference.

For every one of me however, I suspect there are many who are just the opposite.

I think it's a great looking reference and I'm sure many will chime in with their love for it.
As far as TT watches go, the GMT along with the Sub are the best around.

I prefer the SS and YG versions, the larger gold bezel numbers don't flow so well into an SS case.

I tend to agree with Neil on this one. It is, however, a fantastic looking watch...although in terms of my own personal preference, I would rank the TT sunray sub over it.

I love this reference but I think it's the black dial vs the blue dial of the Bluesy which make people favour the Bluesy sub. Now if the GMT was available in TT with a blue dial and the half blue ceramic bezel of the BLNR then ...my Horological Hormones would be well impressed!

I think it's one of Rolex' best looking models!

Unfortunately I had to sell it to finance a Daytona for my wife... :)

The 116713LN is the only Rolex I own and I love the way it looks. Fell in love with it at first sight when I went into my AD looking. I recently ran a poll to gauge where everyone stood on this issue.

https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=391325

Seems 2 Tones are loved about half of Stainless models. The all gold is right in between those two. So if you want to put it into percentages not including the "I love them all" category its:

All Stainless 46%
Two Tone 23%
All Gold 32%

Looks like I am in the 23% which fits me fine because I like being different.

I remember your poll, Jim and thank you for that. Always enjoy seeing and participating in polls like that.

I am a huge TT fan as well and love the way the TT GMT looks and would consider addin it to my collection one day.

Thank you for sharing the pictures. I am in agreement regarding that the 116713 LN is one of the best looking Rolex models out there. Definitely one of my favourite TT models. Would love to add it to my collection one of these days.

I grown to like TT a lot, but for some reason I don't like the green tint Rolex is using, I think it would look better with a different color or even a gold GMT hand.

The TT GMT II-c is one of the sharpest looking watches out there, two-tone or not. It ties the blue TT Sub-c in my opinion.

Watches on #2, #20 and #30 are all fake in terms of the bezel. The first time I thought maybe Rolex put new bezels on the latest GMT TT models so I was just curious and googled when they did it. Apparently, Rolex didn't! Can't believe punks posted pics of their fake watches here. Honestly, it didn't feel good since everybody said how much they love GMT TT but failed to spot obvious flop. I am not even a watch enthusiastic and I can tell. It feels like millionaire talk to people who pretend as millionaire about their luxurious lives.
