Icon5 2015 "in comings"

Is it just my perception or has there been an unusually large number of incomings during the first weeks of 2015?

Maybe it has to do with year end bonuses getting paid out?

Just a guess.

Based on the topics this weekend...I think everyone is concerned about the 75% price increase that's happening on Friday...

(I couldn't resist especially after reading the 12th thread!!)

When reselling the watch it might be advantage to say "purchased in 2015" than "purchased in 2014". So those who were thinking of buying the watch propably delayed their purchase from December to January so the watch is one year younger when reselling. Just like in car deals.

Interesting thought. I was always planning to buy in the NY after the xmas madness and with currency rumours climbing in the UK it helped to push me to buy earlier. I expect the chf rise will accelerate more buys.

I think you are correct. Seems like it to me. I bet it is year end bonuses. I know that I am waiting for mine at the end of Jan. Once it hits, time for another Rolex!

It is a combo of bonuses and the legitimate threat of a price rise

The flirting with price increase is triggering some new purchases, I know for me it's pushing the incoming situation

It sure seems like it...and in particular the gold GMT. It's like Christmas all over again.

Well, if you didn't get what you wanted for Christmas, you have to buy it yourself

A little more than two weeks ago I looked into my crystal ball and seen an incoming.

My AD just called and told me it can be picked up on Thursday.
