Well, I finally came over to the darkside
I visited SLRDude in Dallas last month and saw his 422. We swapped for the day and he wore my AP 15400. Both enjoyed the trade and seeing the 1950s case IRL won me over. After that, I've been trying to decide between the 422 and the 372, both are beauties. But in the end, the domed sapphire and the PR on the back of the movement with the 422 sold me. So today the doorbell rang and UPS made me a happy man.
The jump hour and seconds reset features on the 3001 movement made me decide I could flip my Blancpain Trilogy GMT for this one, although I jumped the gun a bit by buying before flipping. Sent from my iPad (so I blame autocorrect for the spellin' errs)

Thanks everyone.
And a special thanks to Mailman. He helped me vet a seller I had never used before, which resulted in a great deal. Mike - we need to get together for lunch or drinks again sometime soon. Sent from my iPad (so I blame autocorrect for the spellin' errs)

With an ID like yours, I'm guess you might be a fan of dogs so here's one from this morning's walk. It was a brisk 1F outside this morning in the mtns, but nature calls. Sent from my iPad (so I blame autocorrect for the spellin' errs)

Thanks everyone. I'm really enjoying it and get to use the jump hour hand on a business trip this week. It one of those things that is not visible (like a GMT hand) to the outside world, but is sweet to see in action. If the person next to me on the plane sees it in action, I bet it will spark a conversation.
