newbie asking for help
hi all,
would you be so kind as to look at the enclosed picture. an old rolex i bought many years ago in a pawn shop, supposedly built in the 40s. does anybody know the exact age and model of this specific watch and it's estimated worth? any answer would be appreciated. best from berlin reinhard |

Hard to tell anything in one pic... Take it to a Jeweler and have the back removed... If real, therein will show a serial number and then you can start to assess worth

Looks nice. That is one of the old 17 jewel movements housed in a non waterproof case. A 4221 in rose gold just like yours is on my list to get. In near perfect condition I'd expect to pay $2,000US for it. I wouldn't think yours would bring that much.
