I had entertained the idea of going for awhile.

I'm curious about logistics for next year (2016). I would fly into Frankfurt and take the train down. Is the city walkable and how is hotel availability during the show?

Basel will be completely booked or prices are astronomical if available.

You can stay in cities in france and germany , a train ride away and you could be in Basel in less than an hour

Well, thank you.

Is one day enough time to take in the show?

Can't wait!

Prices for the few hotels in Basel are silly now.
