Watch stores in DC area?

I'll be in the DC area soon for work and was wondering what store you guys/gals suggest for trying on various luxury watch brands? To add further diversification to my current collection (in signature), I think my next watch may be either the Cartier Calibre Diver (rubber strap or bracelet) or Breitliing Navitimer (Pan-Am bronze dial or black dial on leather strap). I've emailed Torneau there to see if they carry both to save trips between Cartier and another store. I'll most likely buy again from one of our TRF trusted sellers, but just want to try on both and maybe others as well.

BTW, which of the two would you pick? I think I'll end up with both at some time, but it will be tough to pick which first? If the Cartier...strap or bracelet?
If Navi...black or bronze dial on strap? I like the fact the bronze dial is limited to 1,000 and has clear caseback, but haven't seen it in person compared to black. I think whenever I get a Navi, I would also buy the mesh bracelet as I've really liked how they look. As always, your expertise and opinions are much appreciated.

I would check out Tyson's Galleria mall. There are many high end watch stores there. The L&B store there has a very nice selection. Joe has been very helpful and is knowledgeable. There are also other boutiques there.

Finks and Lenkersdorfer also have good selections.

Cartier has boutiques in Tysons II mall and in Bethesda/Chevy Chase. We have bought watches from both stores. They are good.

Yes, check out Tysons and Tysons II (also called Tysons Galleria). Both malls have stores that carry high-end watches.

Indeed. DC itself has limited watch shopping but northern virginia has plenty in the Tyson mall. Lillenquist and beckstead and lenkersdorfer (def mispelled) lol you can find omega, Rolex, lange, patek, breitling, Cartier, AP, JLC....basically whatever you want

Be carefully if bringing a wife lol they have other stores to match

Btw between those, although I like the Cartier, the navitimer is a true classic for me. It would be navi black dial.

You'll find both those watches at Lenkerdorfer in Tyson Corner Center or at Liljenquist & Beckstead in Tyson's Galleria (which also has a Cartier boutique). It is a bit outside DC in Northern Virginia, half way to the Dulles Airport, but you can take a taxi or metro there from downtown DC.

Much appreciated guys! It has been a while since I've had a chance to play and drool over watches in person. Obviously I drool on trf all the time. ;)

Like others have said, I'd go to Liljenquist or Lenkersdorfer...both are top notch and the sales people actually know watches from my experiences.

If you go to Liljenquist, it neighbors Cartier and Omega boutiques.

Between those watches I'd get the Cartier.

By the pictures, I'd say the Cartier on rubber... I've seen them in person and the Cartier didn't do it for me. I'd go with the black dial Navitimer.

If you hit up Tyson's Galleria you have an Omega Boutique as well, the store in Tyson's carrier Audemars Piguet as well, both of them carry JLC, Patek, Breitling, IWC, Rolex, etc.
