Rolex bracelet fitment for GMT 116710...

Hello, I have been looking at buying one of the new GMT BLNR's and am not particularly fond of the polished center links on the bracelet. It is a little too shiny and dressy for my everday wear. My question is will other bracelets from other GMT's or any other models with the brushed finish fit this watch?
If so, could you please provide the bracelet or watch model numbers that will fit?

Thanks and I appreciate the help!

It's cheaper to just brush the links.

Early GMT, Explorer II and Sub bracelets will fit.

A couple of passes of Scotch Brite from the lugs to the clasp and everything is ok. If you want to go back then a couple of passes of Cape Cod on the center links and voila. Back to the Future.

Yeah, what they said...

The modern GMTIIc bracelet with easy link is a work of art, combining feel, fit, and comfort like no other...even if you could fit one of the older bracelets on it, I wouldn't recommend it. That's just me, though.

I have the 116710LN and like you I was hesitant about the PCLs. I've had it now for five months and have to admit I've adjusted and actually like the look. Although, if I'd been allowed to choose, I would have opted for a brushed style or a Jubilee. You can indeed have the center links brushed but would advise you have a watchmaker with the proper equipment do it. As Tools said it would be much cheaper than trying to source another bracelet. If you really want the BLNR then go for it and just give the PCLs a chance first.

I'd suggested leaving the PCL's for a month or two. They aren't as bad in real life as they are in pictures and under the bright lights of a jewelry store. I didn't like them at first, but after 6 weeks with my GMT IIc I'm used to them. If after a month or two you still hate them, get them brushed at an AD or jeweler you trust

You're crazy! I LOVE the PCL on my Gold GMT. And to be honest I think the watches with the PCLs look best when worn casual.

I appreciate the ideas. My thoughts were just to save the bracelet that came with it and buy a second fully brushed bracelet to wear with it full time. So all prior model GMT and Sub bracelets will fit?

So a question....if I have the center links brushed is it easy to return them to the polished finish if I decide to sell in the future?

I do like the PCL's but I wear scrubs everyday and am constantly working with my hands in front of patients so I just think it would look a little out of place and a little too flashy for my work.

Thanks again!
