Hello all,

Selling this wonderful Rolex Explorer II to fund another purchase.

1985 Explorer II 16550 in excellent condition, recently serviced, excellent patina. Very clean and ready to wear.

This rare reference was produced for only a few years (I think 1984-1987). The original rail dial with "spider web" crazing and wide, square font bezel distinguishes this reference from the far more common 16570 that followed. Great collector’s piece that can be worn daily.

Wide-Font Bezel (NOS pristine, no enamel missing)
Spider Web Rail Dial (nice, even spider web effect)
Creamy Tritium hour markers and original hands
Nice thick case (polished at recent service) with minimal wear
Service receipt from late 2013
Running strong and keeping good time
Original stainless oyster bracelet (stretched, but functional)
Serial and reference numbers on the case are clear and legible.
