SubC No-Date owners: would you?
Would you trade your SubC No Date for a DJII/Fluted Bezel/Dark Blue stick dial?
I love my SubC but have had, ahem, thoughts about trading it for the aforementioned DJII... would love your thoughts. |

No. The Submariner 114060 is one of the best SS references currently available and to trade it in would be an injustice to one's collection. I have a TT DJ II in my collection and love it very much, but would sell that first before even contemplating getting rid of my 114060.

I'd recommend saving for the DJ2 and keeping the Sub if at all possible

I would.
But I'm not a fan of rotating bezels. |

Sure, if you prefer one over the other. Go with your heart....really doesn't matter what anyone else would do. It's not a major life decision.

No. I have the SubC, as well as two DJ models, one of which is a TT. If I had to choose one to keep of the three, it would be the versatile and impressive SubC.
The DJ is an exceptionally comfortable watch, but for me the Sub is the ultimate go to for any dress or occasion.

You, however, are fond of the DJII so may see things differently.. That's why they make both.

NO - save up for the DJII, if there was only one watch left in my collection it would be my SubC no date

Really think you need both...but if only going to have one, I would have to go with the sub.

I cannot think of any watch I would trade my 114060 for, it's perfect IMO.

Not me. Your tastes may differ but the Sub is a must have in my opinion. If you're not feeling the Sub, then do it. You can always reverse it if need be. Explore your options.

I'm not ashamed to ask:
What is SubC as opposed to Sub? |

I'm looking to add a DJII also, no way I would give up the 114060, it's just an outstanding model. Every time I look at it, I get all warm & fuzzy.

No.
Also, in my opinion there is no such thing as a Sub "no date". There is a Sub/Submariner or a Sub/Submariner Date. |

Only you should decide this. I would love to have both of those pieces so I probably wouldn't trade. I would however save up for the DJII and get it. I have one on my wish list myself to purchase some day
