Another Rolex Revelation!
This is the sort of thing that only a WIS would understand.
I decided to wash my Expy2 as it had been a couple weeks, and I like the thought of the bracelet being free of debris. After washing it, I decided to give Bluesy a go for the same reason. While carrying Bluesy to the sink, I looked at it in my hand and was blown away by its lustre and beauty for the umpteenth time! What a lovely watch - there's nothing else on earth like it!

I know the feeling David. Two days ago I felt kind of depress with the daily problems of life and while I was driving I noticed the bright light of the sun on my watch and I was blown away by the beauty of my GMT IIC. Needless to say that my depression went through the exit door.

A friend agreed to swap me a Submariner in exchange for a couple of business class air tickets to Europe (he has 11 Rolexes, I have 1.3 mm miles on Delta). I dropped by his house to pick it up when I was last in SoCal. I just assumed it was an SS 16610, that's what I think of when I think Submariner. He handed me a 16613. I was initially a bit disappointed - I don't like gold, diamonds, or other bling, I love SS watches. Then I looked at the dial, and I couldn't take my eyes away. It has the most unique, lustrous blue color - it changes depending on how the light hits it. I still don't care much for gold, but the dial and the bezel on that watch are just perfect. I could look at them for hours. I can't imagine replacing it.

Must be an exception from the rule. A beautiful watch is not necessarily worn by a handsome man...

Sometimes when the pressure of work is high, it is a great comfort to look down and appreciate the reliable friend that is a Rolex, not only for its rugged beauty, but for the excellence in engineering. Somehow, things don't seem too bad

I'm having an awfully busy day today at work. Phone keeps ringing! Paper work is piling up! But looking at my SD sure does make all stress vanish.

David,,
Ever just been driving along on a nice sunny day...with your left arm on the door...kinda out the window...and you somehow catch a glimpse of blusey in the sun...and at first it's just a glance...then you find yourself staring at it....then you try to see yourself wearing it in your side mirror.............. .........then you realize that the traffic has stopped in front of you?? Yeah, me neither!!

David,
I know the feeling. I'm in love with Bluesy. I don't know how I lasted so long without it. |

Exactly know what you are talking about!!!!!
Each and every time I look @ my new GMTIIC makes me like it more and more. That's interesting that it's not working with other brands for me. I'm getting bored with my Omega and Breitling, but more I wear my Rolexes, more I like them....interesting isn't it? |

I said, I really need to do something about the scratches I caused in the center links when I was stupid and tried polishing it with regular metal polish that I use to polish my SS sink. This was a few weeks ago, adn I got most of the scratches minimized when I used SimiChrome. I decided to buy the CC cloths to finish cleaning up the mess I made. She's shining bright now - almost looks BNIB!
