Yup. They are thieves. Avoid them at all costs. I have an active FBI/Internet Crime Complaint against them. They take your money in all kinds of ways that are untraceable and then you never hear from them again. Thay have several sites.

Good thing you checked up on them first w/o contacting them. If you click the buy button a receipt pops up with wiring instructions on how to send your money. Then they tell you to contact them when you've sent the money. This just alerts them they've got another mark and they know to withdraw your hard earned cash and they've walked away richer and you poorer.

I was going to say, those watches had to be hot at those prices. Once again, if something is too good to be true....

This scam site has been well reported on here at TRF..

I believe the site and it's owner is out of Russia.

Yes, I asked Larry , Mike and Bo about them a few weeks ago. Got the above reply. Reinforced lessons for me:#1 if it looks too good to be true, it is. #2 Ask your friends here first, they'll never lead you wrong. Thanks again to the afore mentioned.

for the record, worst scam i've been taken in, was

for $5000
what flipped me out though, this was before the internet, guy had sent me, thru the US mails, pictures of the item he was selling, and payment was sent thru the mails
never received it nor any responses from the seller
i contacted US Postal as this qualified as Mail Fraud

they tried to treat it like it was a "warranty issue"

actually ended up talking to the assistent director of the mail fraud division in washington and she actually said to me, after trying to continue the farse that it wasn't mail fraud, "do you really expect a US Attorney to file a warrant over $5,000 - all you want is your money back"
my response: yes madam, i'll concede that, but i would think if you don't send someone wearing a badge and a gun to this guy's doorway, you will have told this kid to keep his scams at $5000 or less and he's got a new career.

she denied that so i responded, 'maybe not to your ear, but that's only because your feigning deafness"

a month or so later, was at a barbecue and a friend of mine's uncle was there who's a postal inspector - he clued me in - they have a threshold of $50,000 - if the scam was less than that, they're too busy to handle it

had a similiar incident, or friends of mine in the industry got taken by forged cashier's checks - found out the secret service have the same threshold limit
- incredible

but i guarantee you, re-use one 35 cent stamp, and postal swat will be coming thru your doorway

your own diligence is your best defense - if something smells too good, walk and walk fast

just 02 from an old fart

Meh, please don't associate topnotch with those scam sites. Topnotch is a victim here too as his photos are being stolen and put onto scam sites.

I don't think it is the same guy, just the same photos - members here have bought from him before and he has a lot of positive feedback. I emailed this seller sometime ago and let him know his photos were being used on a Rolex scam website and also suggested he imprint his signature on his photos. I never got a response from him

Yeah, I've read that, too, in the WatchOut section. A member here posted the details of the Russian guy standing behind this bogus site.

Run away like hell!

"Hatchet" noticed that Rolex24h was stealing his pics and notified him of it a few months ago. Nothing can be done.
