Should I do it? BLNR for PAM 233
So impulsive me is at it again. I currently own an 114060 and a BLNR but I have been thinking a lot lately about having more variety within the rotation. The Sub is the perfect daily, so I am thinking about trading the BLNR for a PAM 233. Last summer I was going between a PAM 233/422 and a BLNR but picked up the BLNR thinking it could cover up the urge for a PAM. Well, I was wrong . Some days I love the BLNR and want to keep it and other days I want something else. So what do you guys think?
Trade this? For this? |

I'd do it...your Rolexes are pretty similar. I've had my 233 for a couple of years now & it still gets the most wrist time. Only problem is that I can't stop buying straps for it.

No way!
I'd save for the Pam if you really want one. |

I'd go for the 233, depending on the condition, of course (in comparison to your BLNR, so 1-1 mint and so on). Particularly a DOT-dial
Let us know what you end up doing

For me, I'd much rather have one Rolex sports watch and a 233 over two Rolex sports watches.

BLNR is in excellent condition. I bought it back in October and haven't worn it a whole lot... That's one of the things holding me back. I got the BLNR brand new in box for really good prices and I would have to trade it for a used PAM 233 to make this happen.

I would not. Keep what you have and save for the 233 or any other watch you may want.

I would add the 233, but if you can't I'll do the swap esp since you sound like you are lusting for the 233 more

The question should be-why wouldn't you. 233 without a doubt. The Sub is such a iconic/timeless piece and the 233 is just awesome. Classic look with Pam history and a touch of modern flare. Just perfect!

I wouldn't trade the BLNR for the 233. The BLNR will hold the value better than the 233 in longterm.

I suggest you wait a month and see if your urge is still strong. If it is, do the trade. 👍

The thing about the 233 for me was that i lusted for it when I didn't have it. When I finally chanced upon a NOS dot dial last yr, it somehow didn't get much wrist time in comparison to my BLNR and AP ROC. The 233 looks beautiful in pics, but comfort wise, it doesn't come close to a rolex with the bracelet. Even AP roc on bracelet still falls short on the comfort category vs the blnr. Eventually, I traded the 233 for a sub lvc + cash. Kinda done with pams for now. So my advice, save up for the pam, keep what you have. Scratch the pam itch with new funds, and it shd make you appreciate your rolexes more after you wear them. Shd you decide to flip ltr, there's always another rolex to buy. FYI, I flipped my first 114060 and I regret it. So don repeat the mistake on two great pieces which you have.
