To this, I would add do lots of research, and ask lots of questions. And always remember that the person you're transacting with is infinitely more important than the transaction itself.

Great Advice!!! There's a lot of great sellers on here that can pretty much get you what your looking for.. Do some research, ask questions like "who are the trusted reputable sellers on this forum"!!

If a "new seller" on this forum has what you want, check to see if one of the "trusted sellers" on the forum have or can get you what you want. You'll no doubt feel better dealing with someone with a track record. Good luck!

Yes it would be nice if, say, we all could buy from a seller with a good track record. And on the sellers side, a buyer with a solid track record. How do we all get the track record.
I lost out on two watches I wanted. And I would love to buy from all the wonderful sellers we see here. That being said, their not selling the watch, I'm looking for just now. Do I wait until they are?? Or take the leap of faith and buy from a new seller with the watch I'm looking for??

Welcome. You'll have to pledge to sell. Lots of resources here as well. Best of luck!

Welcome, Ron. If you are interested in a particular model, you can always contact the seller and see if they can get it for you. As others have said, be patient and do your research. Good luck,
