Replacing Datejust dials
Joined here just to ask this question.
My wife and I own 1997 Datejust models. Our 30th anniversary is coming up soon. 30 is "diamond". We have located many vendors on the internet selling what appears to be "custom" dials for Datejust. They look stunning. Many have diamonds. The question is this: are these "custom" dials made by Rolex? Are they authentic? Has anyone here ever replaced their factory dial with a custom dial? And finally, its my understanding that if the dial is not an authentic Rolex accessory, Rolex trained watch repair facilities will not work on a modified watch. True? https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/i...MnXSuhYcT_rniT |

No they are not made by Rolex and if your watch reference did not have a diamond dial then its doubtful if Rolex would change it for a diamond dial. And again if you did put a aftermarket dial into your watch then I would doubt if Rolex would service it
