Tudor Direction post-Basel.
So no new Heritage models this year. You think that's the end of the line for the series, with the new movements and Blue Pelagos taking the brand forward, or maybe a chance for something next year?
There are still plenty of old Tudor Chrono designs ripe for the picking, which are way, way more impressive that the new ones released yesterday, IMO. I, and a few others, were also looking forward to a black-bezel Black Bay this year. I wonder if we've seen the last of those, too. A couple of pics to suggest might have been...or what might come one day: |

I believe Heritage models was to give the jump start to the brand in US and overall and NorthFlag and Pelagos with new in-house movements is the step forward. Heritage models have done their part and now its new designs and movements will take the brand forward.

I love the direction that Tudor is going and appreciate the new in house caliber without a significant price increase but some of the models leave me cold. Love the THC Chrono, Pelagos, and Black Bay but everything else in their lineup is aesthetically unpleasing to me. I was hoping for a Ranger reissue closer to the original…a huge miss at 41mm IMO if I may go back to last year's releases. Not a fan of the North Flag either. Either way, solid company with a few great options.

Maybe they are working on a new chronograph movement for next year. Apart from their heritage models I wonder which design they will go with, the new one did not look good to me one bit.

strange designs (other than BB, THC and original Pelagos) and, with the addition of several lines of text, back to being rolex's "little brother".
not too impressed, frankly. |

Adam, given the glacial place from Rolex on anything looking like an upgrade on SS Daytona's it is ripe for the new movement launching a new Big Block Chrono, which would be a massive hit....... I tend to agree with the other posts, next Baselworld Tudor will need to start showing new out of the box designs not just re makes of old favourites

Still hoping they'll release a smaller version of the new Ranger... I don't mind waiting a year or two (or longer).

That black bezel model with a gilt dial would be just stunning in the metal. I used to think they would avoid making it so as to not cannibalize the Rolex Sub market, but with the new Pelagos in house movement effectively doing that and the North Flag likely taking some wind out of Explorer sails (sales), maybe I was overthinking things.

Those two would be stunning, for sure...but I don't think they're listening.

I'd like to see a black bezel BB. Perhaps with in-house movement?

Good questions Adam, I'd love to see a black bezel BB, maybe next year.

I also would have loved to see a black bezel Black Bay. It seems like such a simple accommodation. Do they just not want it to look like the Sub's little brother?

I'm sure that it would sell well, however I think they would probably use silver instead of rose for the dial markers.

Love the rose gold markers but has to be the right dial bezel combo. On the red BB it looks amazing.
