How does this 5513 look?
I would appreciate the expert opinion on this Submariner:
Thanks! http://www.iconicwatchcompany.com/19...eet-first.html |

Nice sub. Dial has a blemish, which is disclosed in the listing, but I can't make it out in the pictures. 5513's sure have gone up in value over the past couple of years.

It is clean and the case looks great, patina is perfect IMHO.
That blemish wouldn't bother me, I doubt it's visible with the naked eye, but down the road if you wanted to sell it you'll scare most people off with that or they'll throttle you on the price. |

Looks like a beauty to me, and I'd hardly describe that as a 'blemish'

Great example of a classic. Forget about the "blemish". The camera lens can be cruel.

$12,800 for a 1972 Sub with no accessories, on the same site! It's that a record?

The watch looks very nice and the seller is excellent.
Yes.....prices of good 5513's and 5512's have risen. Just like all vintage Rolex, you have to pay for a good example. |
