SNPRStrap concerns - anyone ever use them before?
Hello everyone here at TRF! I wanted to write to get your thoughts and suggestions on an issue I'm currently experiencing. Back in early December, I placed an order for a custom watch strap with a U.S.-based company called SNPRStrap. I had several email exchanges with the owner of the company related to the exact look, lug width, and length of the strap I was looking for. He replied that my requests could all be accommodated, so I placed an order via credit card for the strap. The total was around $185 plus shipping and tax.
I was told my wait time would be 6 to 8 weeks, which was acceptable to me. At week 9, I sent the owner an email just to get a status update. I never received a reply to my email. Then again last week, I sent a follow up email. This email was not responded to either. So now I am getting concerned. So, here we are almost into April and 12 weeks removed from the placement of my order and no correspondence whatsoever. So I wanted to get you opinions as to what you all suggest I do. Hopefully someone out here on TRF might have experience in dealing with this company? I certainly could file a dispute with my credit card company and get my money back. But I am really looking forward to the strap.....if it's even still coming? Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated! |

I looked at the website and it looks quite nice but there is no contact information except an email address and personally I don't like that.

Interesting. I know the strap makers are behind in orders. however, that still is not an excuse. I am glad you wrote about this because I have an invoice from hi to pre=pay for a strap to be made. I think I will rethink this.
Contact Greg Stevens Designs. He is busy too, but does good work and had been fairly good in the communication department. |

If you don't get in contact with them you can disputed the charge with your credit card company...they should handle everything for you in terms of getting a refund. That is if it comes to that...

Based on a suggestion from Britexpat76, I sent the owner a PM via his facebook page. I'll keep you posted if I hear anything back. If not, I may just dispute it with my credit card company and call it a day. Sad too!.....after waiting that long for a strap.

I'm in the same boat but I'm only on my fourth week. They did say approximate lead time to be 8-12 weeks.
