Milgauss GV Blue, 116334 Rhodium DD or 116334 Black RD?

Hi all,

My local dealer is struggling to get my chosen watch in the 116201 rose/steel Datejust pink champagne dial with baton markers on oyster bracelet and domed bezel.

I have been asked to provide alternatives in the likely case they cannot get hold of one. So I have whittled it down to:

Milgauss GV BLUE
116334 DJII Rhodium dial/diamond markers
116334 DJII Black dial/Roman numerals

What would you recommend?

All advice welcome.

Find another dealer. Don't settle because they can't get you what you want.

This.

I am abstaining from voting because you shouldn't settle.

It is hard to aruge with this comment.

I find it very hard to believe they cannot get that model Datejust you are looking for.

Wow! Time to find a new AD....your current one must not really want you to be happy and just wants your money. Try one of the trusted dealers here on the forum. As stated above...don't settle!

Most are from the states and I'm based in London, England. I've tried Rolexroz who wasn't able to beat the deal I've been offered.

I've already put down a grand deposit on each of the watches, they said they should be able to get within four weeks but prepared me in case they can't.

I already bought the "Hulk" & "Batman" and the idea was to get matching his and hers steel/rose DateJusts as wedding presents to ourselves. They found the 179171 yesterday but was on wrong bracelet and fiancé is holding out.

So I guess if he can't get it then I will go for one of the above watches. Milgauss would be a good everydayer and DJ2 rhodium diamond is a bit more elegant. More dressier.

Surely in all of that blessed plot you can find the watch you're after. London isn't exactly Pitcairn Island.

Well when I've managed to get Hulk & Batamn for 11,400 and they've offered 116201 & 179171 for 11,000 I can't find anyone to better their prices. I just gotta wait a while.

I totally agree with never settle. It will only cost you in the long run as you will still always want your first choice. Shop around

You could try the Rolex Boutiques in Central London, I be surprised if they could not get the 116201 you want
