Platinum DD40 dial options

Just checking to see if these questions have been answered by Rolex.

1)The dial size of the DD2 and DD40 are the same exact size? Can the dials be swapped?

2)Will the glacier blue concentric roman dial be available for the DD40?

TIA

Can't answer #2 yet but if the dial feet have the same layout and the windows are aligned the same, they should be interchangeable.

While the cases are different sizes, the movements appear to be same size.

The dial isn't 40mm. A 40mm Submariner dial will fit in a 36mm DateJust so it have nothing to do with the case diameter.
I guess only Rolex know if the cal 3255 dial will fit in a cal 3155 watch.

We've read that the "aperture" is the same. In watch-ese we assume that means same size even though case 40mm v 41mm. Now the footing issue I never read about

I thought I read the dials will be same size and interchangeable. As for concentric Romans the Romans now have a new stick style in glacier blue.

Sounds like it should work but Rolex I am sure like Apple will find a way to make items not transferable so they can sell more.....and make otherwise useful items redundant.

Hope they are interchangeable, but as Neil said, it seems there is a new style of Romans, so...
