Icon6 Traveling INTO the U.S. with Multiple Rolexes

Hey guys,
I will be traveling out of the country to pick up a few vintage Rolexes and then I'll return home after a couple of days. When I go through airport security, I will wear one watch, someone who's traveling with me will wear another, and I'll put the third in a carry-on bag. Question: Has anyone here had past experiences with TSA/Customs/Security seizing Rolexes or fining you for a Rolex on your wrist or one in a suitcase or bag?

And this is my first time traveling with more than one Rolex. Plus, my age can't possibly help. I'm sure security would be highly-suspicious of a teen with multiple Rolexes.

If they search your bag and find the watch, this could cause grief and suspicion. You are not allowed to import Rolex watches into the US, apparently.

That's the worst suggestion so far.

Paragraph 2, sentence 2:

It'll have to be in your carry on. Do not put it in a checked bag.
Can you fedex it home?

There's your answer, remove or file off the Rolex logo's. Then you're good to go.

Wow, you admit on a public forum you are intending to violate the customs and import laws of the United States and you're looking for others to give you advice? Seriously?

I would put one on your wrist and one on the inside pocket of your jacket or something. Are you carrying box and papers? Could be problematic if those are found. You just have to take the risk.

That grey market patent protection is absolutely disgusting imo. Only the US government would give a company that kind of protection. Then again the US government also let Cadburys be banned from America because Hersheys started crying about the competition.

In all likelihood it's low risk, however, one only has to lose a single Rolex to kick themselves for a long time.

You are allowed to hand carry one Rolex per person back into the United States. Several times in the past when traveling with my girlfriend, I have purchased two BNIB watches which we declared to customs while also each wearing a Rolex brought from home to wear on the trip. The customs officer(s) have commented if the watches on our wrists are the ones we bought during travel and I explained that we owned those watches prior to our trip and the purchased watches are in our carry on bags if they need to inspect them. So interpret that how you like... It has never been an issue for me but your experience may vary.

I travel with 2 Rolexes all over the world. One in the carry on and one on the wrist.
Both bought in Sweden and if they will be sold, it will be in Sweden.

If I travel like this to the US, what happens?

Carry an 80's boom box playing "Old time rock and roll". Wear a pair of tighty whitey's and slide on through on your sox "Risky Business" style. (Am I dating myself?)

Ever wonder why so many NIB grey market watches (especially the ones on this forum) have French Canadian warranty cards?
