14060 vs 16570
For diary which is better? Sub 14060 vs Explorer 16570. Why?

I own both and I prefer the 14060M. I think the Sub has a more comfortable bracelet and the 24 complication is not needed by me on a daily basis. Less is more sometimes. Though I do catch myself looking at the Sub for the date and saying to myself, "oh yeah..."

my two favorites and own both.
both are perfect for a daily wear, if i could only keep one it would be the sub because i use the heck out of the timing bezel. sub is a bit more popular and recognizable. do you want to time stuff for 60 minutes or have a 24 hour hand available?

Oh yeah! Totally forgot about how useful the rotating bezel can be! Parking in the city to steaks on the grill, any timing under an hour with that nifty device. Another tick for the Sub! |

The GMT bezel can be used for timing as well, as long as you're not concerned with single minute accuracy.

I'm going to have to go with the EXP II just because of the date feature. I use the date more than the I do the bezel to time things. Why not a 16610?

I just like the appearance of the sub better. I own both however. But in general I tend to wear my 114060 over either of the others.

I have both and like the versatility of the 16570 better.

I have to say the 16570. Very useful everyday and in travel.

Like the 14060 if those are the only two choices. However the new 216570 is a stunner and compliments my DSSD quite nicely.

I depends on for what purpose you need the watch. Those are namely
different watches. The Sub is for diving whereas with the EXP you may check the time on other timezone. The time is easier to set on Sub with its bigger crown but do you need the feature of checking the time on other timezone.

14060 if I have to choose, but you cannot go wrong with the 16570 either.

My 2 cents worth - my first Rolex was this:
Which I was drawn to gor it's under the radar looks, GMT hand and a market level pre owned that I could, quite frankly, justify to myself......and I just couldn't bond with it, despite trying different strap combinations etc. I came to the conclusion that I really wanted a Sub. Not averse to the cyclops but the 14060 clean lines were a great appeal, so that's what I now have- and it hasn't left my wrist since it arrived. Completely displaced my Speedy pro and a mil issued G10 beater; they don't get a look in. So for me 14060(m) 2 line all the way..... |

I like and have owned them both. I have to go with the Sub as my favorite since I am on my second one and the second is a keeper.

Sub for me. I personally have no use for a GMT function.
