Getting a Vintage Itch...

Anyone have advice on how to scrounge up fixer-uppers? I'm fortunate to be near the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena, CA; but anyone have any other good resources for digging up project watches?

The internet is your friend. Use watchrecon I guess but why would you have a preference for a beat up vintage over one that works?
